The Empty Canvas

My body keeps on breathing, but I am not here at all. Can you hear me underneath it? Can you see me through the gray? I became the thing I painted. And the painting learned my name. The frame that ate me. The frame that made me stay. I built a room without a door, to hide the man I was before.
